This series is designed to help young adults engage in Bible study by taking an in-depth look at books of the Bible in their context. We passionately believe that this approach will help readers mature spiritually as they meditate on the depth and beauty of the knowledge of God. More than ever, we are convinced that young people want real answers to difficult questions they face daily. They do not need or want opinions, they crave answers that solve questions they haven't even considered yet. The good news is that the Bible does this!
Series Goals
1. To help young adults dig into their Bible and treasure Christ more through His life-altering Word.
2. To model proper Bible study methods so that students are motivated and prepared to dig into Scripture on their own.
3. To see students learn to understand Scripture in context and understand sections (books) of Scripture, not simply various verses.
4. To produce affordable resources for personal study and groups who want to grow in Christ together.
A Guide to Studying the Scripture
Each Embark book consists of around 30 days of Bible study that work systematically through a book of the Bible. Each daily study is not segmented into "observation,""interpretation," and "response" sections. Instead, we have put a vast amount of time into modeling these Bible study steps. This series guides students to walk for themselves through Scripture in a natural and fluid way, learning to observe, interpret, and respond as they go.
